Every September, Cannes becomes the world capital of yachting. From 8 to 13 September 2026, the Cannes Yachting Festival returns to the French Riviera — the first major in-water show of the European season, where the industry unveils its newest creations against the backdrop of the Croisette.
Two ports, one grand stage
The Festival unfolds across two marinas, each with its own identity:
- Vieux Port — “The Home of Power.” The heart of motor yachting, gathering the leading shipyards, the largest units and the season’s marine innovation, with the iconic Albert Édouard jetty reserved for the biggest yachts.
- Port Canto — “The World of Sailing & Lifestyle.” Home to the Sailing Area, the Yacht Brokerage Area, the Toys Area for the latest watersports equipment, and a dedicated Power Boat Marina.
The 2026 edition by the numbers
This year’s show brings together more than 700 boats, from 5 to 55 metres, and over 680 exhibitors, with an expected international turnout of more than 56,000 visitors. Trade press also anticipates around 150 world premieres. For buyers, brokers and enthusiasts alike, it is the single best place to compare the season’s launches in the water, side by side.
Sustainability in the spotlight
Recent editions have placed responsible boating centre stage, notably through the Innovation Route Awards, which highlight emerging technologies and cleaner, smarter design across the industry — a good compass for where yachting is heading.
